Here we go

So Today is the big day or our own personal D-Day. We are tired yet excited to finally be on the open road. Yesterday was spent in a rapid fire effort to tie up all of our loose ends including managing maps, weighing in (Alex 61lbs - Matt 62lbs), last minute parts and packing, updating our sites, and most importantly excessive carbo loading. Now we've taken our last free showers for who knows how long and filled our water carriers and bottles to the brim. All that seems to be left is to load the car up, get a little gas, and get our butts on the road. Thanks again to everyone that has helped to make this possible and Florida here we come!

Hi guys! Alex, what did you ever do about the mapholder? Did you make something or find it at REI or a bike shop?

Hey guys! Thanks for leaving a day early so I was able to see you off yesterday. Oh, and thanks for lunch too! Be thankful you started in SF instead of La Grande for this one- it has been cold and pouring rain since I got in around 2:30 this morning. I'm excited to follow your website and I'm very proud of you guys for being such BADASSES!
